Shop And Facilities Excellence Program
At National Tank Services, we pursue the highest standards of safety, and recognize continuous improvement in reducing the frequency and severity of injuries for non-driving hourly employees located in shops, washracks and distribution centres.
This group safety program recognizes excellence and improvements in the frequency and severity of injuries for our employees. The program recognizes branches that are injury free during the calendar year, as well as branches that improve the frequency and severity of their injuries at or below company safety targets.

Our Safety Policy, Environmental Protection Policy and Quality Policy are under the signature of the President, are reviewed annually and are posted in all work places. National Tank Services takes an active role in the health, safety and environment of our employees.
National Tank Services has focused on safety with all of its resources and has applied all of the quality principles of leadership, organization, a focus on process, measurement, employee involvement and an unswerving drive for results. National Tank Services safety program is focused on process, measurement and employee involvement to achieve the desired results.
National Tank Services has endeavored to be proactive, designing safety into equipment, facilities and processes. Our hiring standards are in excess of industry minimums and much effort is expended at the outset to hire the right individual who fits our culture and values. Extensive employee training is viewed as mandatory and safety performance is an integral part of everyone’s ongoing performance appraisal. Management training extends beyond compliance and work procedures, to include "soft skills" such as communication, leadership and conducting effective meetings.
